Below are the different types of users in the REPu Platform and how they are defined and managed
Fan – Someone who uses the app with no user account. A Fan can use the app, view all team’s public content (Games, scores, rosters, news, photos, videos, etc), favorite teams, and receive notifications. A Fan has NO access to view a team’s private content (practices & events) or manage content
User – A Fan who has created their own account in the app is now a User. A User can use the app, view all team’s public content (Games, scores, rosters, news, photos, videos, etc), favorite teams, and receive notifications. A User has NO access to view a team’s private content (practices & events) or manage content. The advantage to being a User is their settings are saved to their account and across multiple devices
Member – A Member is a User who has been granted access to a team using the team’s code. Members that enter a team code in their account are able to see the team’s private content such as practices & events in addition to the public content. Members also have access to Messaging (BETA)(if enabled by organization) where they can privately message with other Members. Member accounts are only managed in the App
Manager – A Manager is a Member who has been given access to manage content in the App & CMS. Managers can be given specific permissions to Add/Edit content, but they can also be given access to manage Members & Managers. Manager accounts are only managed in the App
Admin – An Admin is the only account that is managed in the CMS, and Admins have full access to manage all data for all teams in the App & CMS. Admins can add other Admin users in the CMS.
